UV protection on ALL ZEISS clear lenses


Although the ophthalmic lens world is well aware of the need for UV protection, it’s still not a key focus area in the industry. Starting today, ZEISS is raising its standard of eye care.

All ZEISS clear plastic lenses will provide protection against UV rays up to 400 nm, the UV hazard as defined by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
